Erin Benson, a second-generation Chicago Lumber Company employee, brings nearly two decades of hands-on experience in the building materials industry to her role as Warehouse & Dispatch Manager. She’s known for being dependable, organized, and operations-minded, helping to keep materials moving efficiently, safely, and on schedule for both customers and internal teams. Erin’s day-to-day work supports everything from planning and scheduling to ensuring the warehouse runs smoothly and consistently.
Erin has grown her career at Chicago Lumber Company through multiple roles, starting as Part-Time Yard Help, then advancing to Material Handler, Loading Dock Supervisor, and Yard Superintendent. Along the way, she developed strong expertise in physical inventory, forklift operation, jobsite safety, and logistics coordination. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science – Health Promotion from Central College, bringing a unique blend of operational discipline and people-focused leadership to her work.
